Marcin Wiechec represented Poland in the working group developing the International Recommendations for Fetal Heart Screening according to ISUOG. The project was coordinated by Prof. Julene Carvalho from the Royal Brompton Hospital in London. The appointed team of experts comprised a total of 16 people, including specialists from the USA, France, Italy, Chile, the UK, Germany, Switzerland, and Israel. The figures for the guidelines were prepared by Dr. František Grochal from Slovakia, the substantive heir to the great teacher of ultrasonography the late Prof Phillipe Jeanty.
